The curriculum is divided into 10 monthly projects where children reach the educational goals set by EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)

Curriculum frame
The curricula are created and planned by the teachers according to:

  • Specific group they work with  (age, interests, sex, and the personalities of the children)
  • Maximum curriculum demands for a specific age group obligatory in the Polish, British, American, French, and Finnish educational system
  • Teaching practice
  • Yearly group goals
  • Planned evens (celebrations and fesivities)
  • Educational objectives set by EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)

Each monthly curriculum is available for parents in the pre-school online system until the 5th day of each month.

The curriculum is implemented by all three teachers and is an integral part of planned events and extra curriculum classes.

Celebrations prepared by the children
Their main aim is to give support to the curriculum.

Depending on the group, together with teachers, children prepare  4 public celebrationswhere they invite their parents and relatives.

Intercultural events
Teachers broaden the curriculum with special activities, which aim to make classes even more attractive and to expand children’s knowledge about the cultures of various countries. In the pre-school we celebrate:

  • American Thanksgiving
  • Spanish Columbus Day
  • Polish St. Andrew’s Day
  • Indian Divali
  • British Queen’s Birthday
  • Saint Nicolas’ Day
  • Three Wise Men
School year round extra curricular activities
Within the school year  (September- June) extra curriculum activities adapted to the childen’s age take place.

  • Speech therapy – once a week in Polish

There are group classes obligatory for all the children and individual classes for the children presenting speech problems. The main aim of the classes is diagnosis, therapy, and the prevention of speech disorders.

Children at the age of 3 participate in test classes, which aim to diagnose a potential speech problem at very early stage when it is easy to treat and prevent.

  • Music classes – once a week in Polish

During classes children learn songs in Polish, work on their sense of rhythm, learn to play on diverse instruments, develop their sense of music, musical memory, and musical ear.

  • Dance classes for Chinese and French groups

These classes help children create their own personality, develop imagination and sensibility, and master cooperation with other children.

  • Sport classes – once a week in Polish

The aim of these classes is to detect and correct any potential problems with the body posture and form of a child’s physical fitness.

School year-round curriculum events
Monthly curriculum is supported by monthly events.  They usually refer to the educational content and objectives. Below are some examples:

  • Theater coming to school
  • Trip to the theatre or museum
  • Classes lead by a specialist (For example ecological building, musical concert)
  • Activities with animals
  • Meeting with a policeman
  • Visit to a Firemen Station
  • And many others
  • Prime areas are fundamental, work together, and move through to support development in all other areas:
    1. Personal, social and emotional development
    2. Communication and language
    3.Physical Development
  • Specific areas include essential skills and knowledge for children to participate successfully in society:
    1. Mathematics
    2. Understanding the world
    3.Expressive Arts and Design
  • Specific goals are implemented in the classes led in three languages by three teachers leading the group.
  • Teachers in their monthly plans include tips for parents to do at home such as titles of the books worth reading, titles of songs etc.
